Sinopsis:
Liam and Tina are a young married couple
living in a housing estate on the outskirts
of a small Irish town. Late one night Liam arrives home drunk and
a violent row develops between the two and continues until dawn. During
the argument we see through
flashbacks how they have spent their day: Tina appears a woman trapped
in a marriage she hates and Liam is busy seducing another woman. It
gradually emerges that both of them have something to hide and something
they don't want to reveal to each other. After a dramatic and shocking
development of the row we are left to reflect on this intricate portrait
of Tina and Liam's tragic relationship and on an event which has changed
their lives.
