Sinopsis:
Julie is about thirty, and trapped in a
body made useless by cerebral palsy but she wants to be 'normal', to be
considered for her mind rather than be dismissed for her body.
Madelaine is Julia's primary carer.
She also has problems of her own - trapped in a vicious cycle of
feeling inadequate unless she has a boyfriend, any boyfriend.
Madelaine yearns for power in her relationships but the only
powers she has are those she exerts over the almost completely helpless
Julia. Julia and Madelaine
exist in a mutually hateful but interdependent relationship, punctured
by incidents of both spite and affection.
There seems no way out for either of them, no future.
When a man called Eddie walks into both of their lives, a power
struggle ensues with major consequences. |
