Sinopsis:

It is summer in the remote village of San Lorenzo in Patagonia.  A young engineer from the city arrives the same time migrating flamingos reach what seems like the end of the world. But the engineer's presence upsets the rigid sense of order in the village. Not only does he accidentally fall in love with the town's seductive courtisan, but he also becomes involved in an Indian woman's search for her missing father. He finds himself caught up in a dramatic conflict with the local bigwigs.
