Sinopsis:
At night, on the outskirts of a metropolis
a young black is first woundedand then burned to death when the young
people's social center, where he was staying, is set on fire. The dream
he had always cherished was to make a trip to Jamaica, the land of
reggae, ganja and the tolerance of the rastamen.. The boy's pals try to
identify his killers. One of the friends is also looking for the
hospital his expectant wife has been taken to. A truck decorated with
colourful Jamaican figures acts as a kind of lifeboat protecting then in
this sea of urban violence. Death and memories, life and hope,
interweave throughout this unique night, giving birth to feelings of
deep friendship and joy at the arrival of the baby they all feel belongs
to them. The death of their friend and the violence of the city are now
seen in a new, creative context...
