SINOPSIS
|
Four
sisters get together at their mother's house when one of them is about to
get It’s
the week of preparation for the fourth marriage of CARMEN, one of the four
daughters of D.LETICIA, northeastern matriarch, descendent of an ancient
Cearà family. ELEONORA
is a writer and the eldest of the four sisters. She arrives from Italy
where she’s lived now for years, bringing with her and into the bosom of
the family - especially as regards ROSE, sister and confidante - her most
recent experiences: a book just published in Italy and her step daughter
SELVAGGIA, with whom she has a complicated and special affective
relationship. ISABEL
is married and has lived for many years in the United States, She is
constantly taken up with her frustations, both for the relationship with
her husband who is always too invloved with his work but with whom she’s
madly in love, and for the impossibility of becoming a mother. CARMEN,
the bride, attempting marriage for the fourth time after having previously
failed with a Russian, A Tyrolean and a Hawaian. ROSE,
lives in Fortaleza. Unmarried, plastic artist, painter, good at Tarot and
knows a bit about everything but not so much about love. Loves GIL with
whom she’s had a relationship for years, but she’s not the "only
one". She suffers for this, but is unable to leave him. Alongside
these characters are the most intimate
