Sam, ex-journalist/ex-junkie, gets the task to find the girl Ellen and bring her back to her father Aimé. Ellen refuses to go back to her criminal dad. Sam takes Ellen, who makes her think of her deceased daughter, under her protection. But in the confrontation with Ellen’s father, Sam has no other option than to make a final sacrifice.
