A small town in the Gulf of Naples. Monotonous days go by one after the other for Peppe, unemployed, who occasionally drives the hearse for the city authorities; the same goes for Ivo the postman and Rosario the cemetery custodian and distracted husband of Patrizia, a restless Italian teacher who dreams of a more adventurous life. In the attempt to make ends meet and find distraction from their daily life, our three heroes play their music now and then in the town clubs, with no success. One day everything changes. When the three friends hear the news of the death of Paolo e’Fierro, local mafioso, who actually pretended to be dead to avoid splitting the loot from his latest hit with the local boss, their attempt to change their lives drastically turns them into unlikely robbers. As is obvious, not everything will go as planned....
