Martin is a Croatian war veteran whose life changes when, by a bizzare twist of fate, he recognizes Desa as the leading actress in a serbian porn film. Martin embarks on a quest to find her which leads him to Belgrade, where he finds her working as a hooker. When he takes Desa to Zagreb, she’s convinced that Martin is also a pimp who brought her to Croatia to work as a prostitute but she doesn’t understand why he treats her so politely. Martin dares not to tell her that he knows her from before, during the war... Despite all the confusion and mutual misunderstandings, a strange kind of love blossoms between Martin and Desa, which makes it even more difficult for Martin to reveal his secret...
