Soon after arriving in Mumbai, to play a little role in a Bollywood movie, Nick, a Dutch actor,  witnesses the fatal car accident  of a young  beggar girl. Severely shaken, Nick decides to no longer be a passive eyewitness to all the misery around him and starts doling out assistance to all the wretched people he sees.
