Synopsis
The millionaire American mafia boss Joe Lomonaco, on his lawyer’s advice, having failed to sink the cruiser insured for 7 million dollars (but worth less), decides to sell it. An international trickster, known as “Charleston”, decides to take part in the business deal. To do so, he steals a Gauguin from Richard Watkins, a Scotland Yard inspector, and offers to recover the same in exchange for protection. Thus, Charleston is able to swindle Lomonaco from whom he buys the boat and to whom he manages to sell it back by means of a neat trick…
