Synopsis
Lorenzo is a hard working antidrug squad policeman who gets involved in a shoot-out where three criminals die. Thanks to this he gets transferred to Turin where he is to take up quieter tasks, like looking after the custody of Sante, a jailbird who is in hospital having attempted suicide. With Lorenzo is Andrea who is a very sensitive policeman who has just emerged from a bad sentimental disappointment. Andrea, being frail is easily convinced by Sante. he says he wants to see his woman-friend who works in a bar close to the hospital. But Sante is lying and escapes. Andrea’s mind is shaken by this and he kills himself. The tragedy deeply affects Lorenzo. He had asked Andrea to take his place while he was out on personal business, that particular evening. Overcome by anger, Lorenzo, starts personal hunt for Sante…
