Synopsis
Enrico and Sandrino are two 18 year-old best friends. Both are timid and have never had any experience with women. Sandrino also has an inferiority complex. One day, his uncle sends him to Stresa to collect a load of cocoa at the Italian-Swiss boarder. Enrico goes with him and along the way they meet a coach full of Dutch tourists; they decide to try to win over Joan, a pretty young woman and her friend who turns out to be an old woman who the girl is companion to. Enrico manages to court Joan, who accepts to be his first girl, while the old lady takes pity and helps them out. The boys go back home at last more confident and Enrico straight away courts the young typist in his office.
