DON CAMILLO MONSIGNORE MA NON TROPPO
Synopsis
The parish priest has been made up to Monsignor and transferred to Rome where Peppone is also to be found, now elected senator. They do not move in the same circles but nostalgia for their home town draw them together. When a great quarrel erupts in Brescello between communists and Catholics, the ICP and the Vatican resort to sending Don Camillo and Peppone as moderators, so that an agreement can be reached between the two opposing parties. The two are faced with a great many problems besides, which raise the usual squabbles between the two, but they eventually return to Rome having made their peace.
