Synopsis

Tommaso and Cecilia are experiencing a very complex love story. Tommaso’s story begins when Cecilia suddenly breaks off plans for their wedding, on the grounds that the man has been unfaithful to her with a girl called Raula. While Tommaso is distraught with sorrow, Enea comes on the scene and the dissatisfied Cecilia falls in love with him. Tommaso tries all in his power to persuade Cecilia that Enea is not the man for her and tells her a load of lies about him. Seeing that these lies are useless he decides to go to a quack. He asks her to prepare a love potion that will make Cecilia come back to him. In the end Cecilia spontaneously returns to him. Alas, he is unable to set things right and so the story goes on as before…
