Synopsis
The Black Pirate, alias Duke Emilio di Ventimiglia, having sold his soul to the Devil, has sworn vengeance on Wan Guld (governor of Maracaibo), who has betrayed and killed two other pirates. After having boarded a Spanish galleon, he falls in love with the Governor’s daughter, Honorata. Faithful to his promise though, he abandons the young maid at sea and then leaves with other pirates to attack Maracaibo, where he is taken prisoner. He is freed by a Spanish noble and for Wan Guld it is the end. Having found Honorata once again, saved and crowned queen by the Indios, he leaves his buccaneering ways behind and sails off into the sunset with his love
