Synopsis

This episode sees Don Camillo transferred to an isolated mountain village, where he finds an inhospitable rectory and a semi-dilapidated church. Feeling terribly alone, he feels quite homesick for his old town, while his old parishioners and even his old adversary, Peppone, miss him terribly. When the mayor Peppone needs his intervention, he turns to the bishop to ask for Don Camillo’s return, hoping to find an ally. But when he returns, things get back to normal and once again Don Camillo and Peppone are at odds, although an emergency will soon see them work together once again.
