Synopsis
Young Anna and Claudia, old aunt Marta and the decrepit Caterina live on a farm in Veneto. Anna looks after the farm for her aunt while Claudia, an orphan living with the family, teaches the children of the area. One day Nicky, Anna’s brother, arrives from Milan with Picchio, his business partner and “special friend”! During the visit, many memories are awakened along with ghosts from the past. Old friends are found on the eve of a long-awaited trip to Venice, but then Marta suffers a heart attack and the girls decide to move to Milan. But Nicky changes his mind and decides to stay in the country. Anna, Claudia and Picchio then depart alone for Lombardy.
