Synopsis
Maria, elderly mother of five, dies suddenly a few hours before the due date of the second instalment of her extremely high life assurance policy. One of the insurance company officials takes on the task of investigating this mysterious death and so sets about contacting the offspring of the deceased, starting with the beautiful Cinzia. Inevitably, the two start an affair which is destined to become serious. In the meantime, the investigator finds out that the old woman did not die of natural causes.
