Synopsis
A “chronically” laid-off worker from northern Italy, a 30 year-old teacher out of work, a nostalgic Marxist , a man just released from prison and a beautiful Tv journalist. All of these characters, disillusioned with their lives and passionately opposed to politics, decide to kidnap a politician, to dispense justice and use the ransom money to compensate the bereft family of a victim of an on-the-job worker.
But the clumsy group is totally incompetent and blunders the entire mission by grabbing the wrong person, an unknown under-secretary who, by the way, happens to be one of the few honest politicians around.
Stalked from all sides, conscious of having kidnapped a good guy, our little group of ad-libbers will find itself at the heart of a difficult mission which will turn out to be an impossible one…
